Adoption  

The Durango Photography Club has adopted a section of highway as part of the Colorado Adopt-a-Highway program. We were able to get a very beautiful section of Highway 550. Watch for our Club identification sign soon at mile marker 52 just north of the Cascade Creek switchback where the highway begins its serious climb toward Coal Bank Pass. We'll call for Club member volunteers to do litter control as needed and we'll tie-in our litter pick-up with photo outings at Larkspur Trail, Spud Lake and Old Lime Creek road which are nearby.
